Our Roots

In 2012 Acme Bakeshop was born. It all started at our little warehouse space out in Garden City, Idaho where our owner/head baker Michael Runsvold began a small pre-order bread delivery service. We have since expanded to serve over 40 restaurants in the Treasure Valley in addition to our retail outlet with both Boise Co-op locations, Lark & Larder on the Bench, and weekly presence at the Boise Farmers Market.

We stand firm in our commitment to bring fresh baked and expertly crafted loaves to our community every day. The early morning grind isn’t easy, but we believe it’s worth it to bring you the freshest bread possible without preservatives or ingredients you can’t pronounce.
